Openings for NMS Development Engineer with minimum 5 years Experience. Position is @ Chennai.
Job Description:
Engineering position responsible for evaluating bugs and developing fixes for EPICenter Network Management product. Also responsible for product development, development and/or maintenance of Support/Sustaining tools, utilities and codelines. Communicates with other Support teams, with Development teams, Quality Assurance teams, Release Engineering team and sometimes directly with the customers
Must:
Minimum of 5+ years experience developing/sustaining complex products based on Java.
Skills Required:
§ Well-rounded knowledge of as many of the following technologies:
§ Client/Server
§ Server-side concepts: Transaction, Multithreading, Sockets, Relational Database, SQL, JDBC
§ Protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, Telnet, SSH, SNMP, HTTP
§ Scripting languages: TCL, Perl
§ Client-side concepts: Swing, JSP
§ JUnit, Ant
§ J2EE Technologies
§ Web Services / SOAP
§ XML
Desirable Skills:
§ Prior experience with sustaining/development NMS products
§Working knowledge of Networking and related technologies such as Ethernet, Wireless, etc.
