The WAN group is responsible for developing ATM, FR, X.25 and other WAN related features for MND products.
As Software Engineer your scope of Responsibilities would include
Ø Design, code and test new features for data communi! cations products.
Ø Investigate and provide solutions for customer escalations as required.
Ø Utilize written specifications and produce the necessary technical documentation to describe designs.
Ø Ability to work within a structured development environment and observe process guidelines.
Skills and Job Requirements
You must have a University degree in electrical engineering, computer science or the equivalent.
Ø Minimum 2 years programming experience in the data communications field.
Ø Ability to write 'C' code in UNIX development environment.
Ø Ability to work in Real time Operating systems and object oriented design practices. Ability to implement functionality based on RFCs and protocol standards.
Ø A working knowledge of network analyzers, debugging tools and environment is required. UNIX/Linux kernel programming, Device driver/file system development, Storage systems (ILM, Virtualization etc.) development.
