Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Provide Online (Email / Chat / Phone) and Onsite Location support for Security Product to Customers & Partners
2. To Handle Technical Calls related to network and Product related Queries
3. To understand customer requirements, Network Infrastructure & Prepare Network Diagrams
4. Suggest Placement of security products in the Customer Networks
5. To carry out actual Installation, Implementation and Configuration of Products as per Customers requirements
6. To handle Security Product Implementation related queries of Customers/Partners
7. Travelling to different Locations/Cities for Product Implementation in Live Networks
Qualification : B.E. (Computers, Electronics, Instrumentation) or other equivalent
Certifications: Additional Certificates such as CCNA, CCNP or other Security Certifications on Checkpoint / Fortinet / Sonicwall / Watchguard
Experience: Min. 1 Year to Maximum 5 Years
Technical Skills
Person should be have good technical skills and capable to understand Clients requirement and Network Infrastructure
Good oral & written communication in English is must
Technical Understanding of Networking, OSI Model & Security Fundamentals such as:
Firewall / VPN
Intrusion Detection & Prevention
Content Filtering (Web & Mail Filtering)
Gateway Antivirus & Anti-spam
Hands on Experience on Implementation and Configuration of any of below devices in each of the category
Knowledge on any one of the product in each category
Routers : Cisco or Juniper
Firewalls (Checkpoint, Sonicwall, Fortigate, Cisco PIX)
Proxy Servers ISA/SQUID or Mail (Qmail, Sendmail) Servers preferred
Intrusion detection & preventions systems (ISS Proventia)
Gateway Level Antivirus & Antispam Solutions for HTTP/SMTP/POP Protocols (Trend Micro, Symantec, Mcaffee)
Operating systems : Windows/Linux Platform
Hardware Knowledge : Wireless Access point, IBM/HP/Intel Based High End Servers
Router, Operating System – Installation & Troubleshooting.
Network & Security Protocols : HTTP, SSL, SMTP, SNMP, POP3, IMAP, TFTP, FTP,DNS, VPN, DHCP, TCP/IP
