JOB DESCRIPTION:
Designation: Asst. Vice President - All Verticals ( TESTING / SCM / ERP/ CRM / INSURANCE / BANKING / RETAIL / TECHNOLOGY / FINANCIAL SERVICE / MFG / INDUSTRIAL Etc.)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
- The Manager will lead large scale, global Engagements for respective domain - Will be responsible to manage, lead and motivate high potential domain teams. - Developing engagement proposals and detailed engagement plans and schedules. - Negotiate with clients during pre-contract signing, through contract closure and during all phases of engagements in between. - Manage and negotiate change orders. - Able to work with customers both international and domestic on an ongoing basis. - Identifying and tracking risks, scope, schedule and cost changes, as well as resource and quality issues. - Define and lead the program team. - Ensuring practice and engagement success including quality, financial performance and delivery to the customer. - Manage a varied staff that will include employees, partner companies, and/or subcontractors. - Responsible for all staff development and growth of next generation leadership from existing team. - Ensuring Practice and engagement compliance, training, and marketing requirements have been met. - Will have total responsibility and be held accountable for each engagement 's success.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Substantial Project Management experience with large-scale operational or project management environments - Previous work experience working with European and US Companies - High/Infectious Energy Leadership style. - Proven ability to lead and motivate high potential technical teams. - Strong Business acumen. - Proven leadership of technical teams. - Impeccable written & verbal communication skills. - Meticulous organization skills - Undergraduate degree in Software Development or Engineering. - Minimum of 5 years of large scale, multi-year Project Management experience - Experienced in managing all aspects of an engagement, including gathering and analyzing customer requirements, establishing engagement vision and goals, developing detailed project plans, monitoring and guiding cross functional teams through execution. - Proven track record of successfully managing multiple, simultaneous projects to profitability. - Proven experience in dealing with customers both international and domestic. - Excellent negotiation skills and knowledgeable of contracts is a requirement.
Desired: · Previous experience in establishing the domain Practice. · Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) or from equivalent institution.
