Position: Oracle Applications Database Administration
Education: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA/MSc
Exp.: 5- 8 yrs
Job Title: Oracle Applications Database Administration
Job Description:
Specific duties to be performed including, but are not limited to:
Ø Maintaining Oracle applications specific to the client.
Ø Designing, developing, planning and implementing the technical
database design of customizations/modifications to Oracle modules.
Ø Monitor and maintain concurrent managers.
Ø Cloning applications and creating development instances.
Ø Portal install/configure with Single Sign-On and OID.
Ø Creating developing and maintaining database maintenance scripts.
Ø Instance Management.
Ø Self Service architecture/maintenance.
Job Requirements:
1. Five plus years of Oracle DBA experience.
2. Expertise in Oracle 9i RAC.
3. Proficiency and strong familiarity with Oracle Applications
release 11i.
4. Proficiency with UNIX and HP architecture. Experience with
Windows NT administration is a plus.
5. Expertise in Oracle applications database administration,
restoration, patching and replication.
6. Expertise in installing, configure, maintaining and supporting
Oracle Application release 11i.
7. Expertise in the development of backup/recovery procedures,
basic and advanced performance and application tuning, space
management and other database maintenance procedures.
8. Expertise in Oracle OEM and Concurrent Manager Processing.
9. Experience supporting Oracle development and end-user toots.
10. Strong experience in configuration, performance tuning,
monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance/prevention of Oracle
databases.
11. Experience with security products, encryption, firewall
integration etc.
12. Solid verbal and written communication skills.
