Automation Test Engineer (QA)
Job Description:
Arcot is seeking an Automation Test Engineer (QA) to drive software testing of its leading products. You will be responsible for design and development of test automation frameworks, executing automation tests, reporting the results and maintenance of automation test cases across multiple products. You will be required to integrate test application with build & release process. You must have strong technical and communication skills and must have worked in a fast paced product development environment.
This position reports to the QA Lead.
Job requirements:
At least 2 years of experience black box testing of enterprise server products is mandatory.
Should have worked with design and development of test automation frameworks.
Candidate has hands on scripting experience of at least 2 years with one or more of the GUI based functionality testing tools. QTP experience is must.
Must be technically sound with good knowledge of operating system (either UNIX or Windows) and a good understanding of database concepts.
Hands on experience with Performance/Load testing using MS Web Application Stress tool /Load Runner.
Effective verbal and written communication with ability to think creatively and abstractly
Extremely proactive and detail oriented. .
Minimum Experience: 4 years.
Educational Qualification: Bachelors or Master degree in Computer Science/Engineering from premier institutions.
