JOB TITLE: BUSINESS ANALYST
REPORTING TO: CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Responsibilities: - Work closely with the product team to evaluate product extensions and new ideas to lay out the future of a product - Develop, define, and build business case for new product features including cost benefit analysis - Work across functions to define and coordinate the introduction of new products into the marketplace - Manage ongoing projects and relationships with other business groups such as product development, marketing, delivery, and technology. - Help to analyze and solve day-to-day issues that occur - Develop business requirements specifications for custom development projects - Develop first level use cases based on the business requirements - Provide input and guidance to the project team - Prepare training courses and conduct training for staff - Any other tasks assigned
Minimum Skills Required: - Preferably Master's degree in Business Administration, or an equivalent of the degree in appropriate education. - Knowledge of financial industry, mortgage banking would be a plus. - Knowledge of business analysis and SDLC - Working knowledge of UML, requirements preparation, and use cases - Experience in full life cycle implementation of large and complex applications - Strong analytical, problem solving and quantitative analysis skills. - Strong organizational skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to balance technical and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technical and business experts - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and employees, along with working with external clients - Ability to maintain own work flow and meet deadlines - Strong command of the English language - Strong presentation skills - Ability to work with tight deadlines and under pressure environment
Experience: - At least 3 years of experience as Business Analyst of some well reputed software company - Experience in an export software development environment - Experience in UML, and SDLC
