 Description
Position: Data Entry/Extraction Engineer for Data Migration and Updates.
Type: Full-time

We have an immediate opening at our Karachi office for a 'Data Entry/Extraction Engineer' for Support/Update/Data Migration.

Responsibilities include:
Cleaning up dirty, incomplete, un-importable client data into importable, clean data by using a combination of manual data entry, text search and replacement techniques, scripting, etc.

Required skills:
1. English language: Excellent reading and understanding skills.
2. Be able to touch type with a speed of 60+ wpm and 99% accuracy.
3. Must be proficient with Excel.

Desired skills:
1. Experience with textual data extraction and manipulation especially using (unix styled) regular expressions and string matching/replacing
capabilities.
2. Experience with a scripting language (such as Perl) which can be used for the purposes of text search/replace and data cleanup.
3. Fresh graduates (Computer Science/MIS) are encouraged to apply. Prior experience with data cleanup and data entry will be considered an advantage.
4. Knowledge of Accounting (GL, AP, AR), ERP, CRM concepts
5. Some experience with testing ERP, CRM applications in Java, JSP, SQL based products
6. Knowledge of Relational DBs, SQL such as mysql.
7. Strong analytical, troubleshooting and organizational skills
8. Excellent oral and written communication skills
9. Knowledge of CVS, Ant, Tomcat, Automation and Load Testing tools a definite plus .
10. Highly motivated, detail oriented, creative, and attracted to a challenging opportunity
