Title : DESIGN ACTIVITY PLANNING (6th Semester)
Organization : CORPORATE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY(CIT) of Kirloskar Electric Company Ltd.
Description : FINAL PROJECT (6TH SEMESTER MCA):
Duration: 4 months
Front End: Developer 2000(Oracle Form Builder and Report Builder)
Back End: Oracle9I
The project was basically developed to automate the work of Design Activity Planning done by the Engineers belonging to DC Engineering Department. Initially the back end was designed and later the front end was designed according to the DC Engineering Department requirements. Later the work of uploading some part of data onto form from SAP was done.
Some important functions: COPY : To create a new record by copying some details from existing.
AMEND: To make changes to existing record.
BOM_STATUS: To decide whether the planning is finalized or not.
UPLOAD: To Upload the Data from SAP (MKTG DEPT details).
The coding mainly consists of Triggers & Program Units . Triggers like post-query,post-text,when-new-form-instance etc.. are written. Finally using a ReportBuilder from D2K Report is developed. In the later stages of the project many changes were also incorporated and finally implemented.

OS : Win 2000
