PROJECT UNDERTAKEN:
PROMODEL SOFTWARE:
PROMODEL SOFTWARE is the new software used in the industries today. This software is used in the manufacturing industries. In JIT, MRP, and KANBAN systems we can use this software. The industries like TATA had implemented this software.
We had done the project using the PROMODEL SOFTWARE. We had taken a current layout problem from one company. In that we made the changes in that current layout and make a U-type of layout for the material flow (process layout) that was initially random one. We had done the calculation using PROMODEL SOFTWARE that reduces time utilization, labour utilization etc.
We had also used AUTO-CAD SOFTWARE for the layout purpose.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
Committee member of PESA (Production Engineering Student Association) for the year -2006.
Member of Indian Society of Technical Education.
Participated in BLOOD DONATION CAMP organized in the college for the year 2004 and 2005.
Participated in various college activities like Atharva, Personality Contest etc.
Seminar on “suspension in trains”.
