Project Title : Online Exam

Project Description
This utility software performs the whole task of conducting the exam, evaluating the paper and storing the marks automatically.
The questions are of multiple choice type with four options. The user has to give the answer within a given interval of time. As the timing facility is provided, the name “ONLINE EXAM” is given for this project.
The package is completely menu driven. The user is guided with online help wherever necessary. In this, three levels of question papers are provided. They are Low level, Medium level and High level. One can choose any paper for writing exam.
One can enter a new question paper, modify the existing one and can also delete a paper. It is also possible to perform all the above operations on individual questions. Only authorized persons can perform these operations on question papers.
We can come to know about the details of the users that are attended for the exam. We can know personal details, marks and date of exam for individual persons or for all together.
If a user wants to write the exam and he is a new one, first his personal details are taken and then he is allowed to write the exam by selecting interested level. He is given a fixed interval of time to answer each question. If he did not answer with in the time, the next question is displayed and no marks are given to the previous one. At the end of the exam his score is displayed.

Project Description
The project “Chatting System” is a combination of Server and Clients, which are developed in Java. Generally a Server is maintained and any number of Clients can be connected to that Server which are communicated with one another.
The server can be run in either graphics mode or command line mode. The server maintains a list of all Clients and lists the clients who are currently online and also their conversations, offline messages. It creates main chat room, which is public for all clients.
The client can use public chat room or can create a new private chat room and can offer others to enter into that. A client can also avoid a particular user from sending messages him. A client can also send offline messages inaddtion to sending messages for those who are on the online.
The main feature of this Chatting System is freehand drawing utility. Freehand drawing is useful for those people who want to express their views in pictorial representation. We can also import tiny images and send them through out LAN. We can draw circles, squares, lines, text, and paste images for sending other Clients.
