PROJECT/TRAINING UNDERTAKEN:
1)Final year Project as a part of BE Curriculum:
Project Title: “Energy Meter using PIC-16F873 and RF link”.
Description: The concept used in this project is to read a remotely installed energy meter via RF wireless interface. The monitor and control is with the PC. The PC can monitor the energy consumed, issue a warning, trip and reconnect the load. The load is connected in series with the current transformer and relay contacts. The read command is sent from the PC to the RF module. The RF module formats the data and then transmits the command. The command is received by the EM2005 and action is executed whether sending the units consumed back or tripping or re connecting. Duration: 10 (Ten) weeks
2)Semester Project as a part of BE Curriculum:
Project Title: “Radio Remote Control using DTMF”.
Description: The aim of the project was to device a system, which can control appliance using RF signals. We used to send specific frequency signal using a telephone keypad for switching and a Dual Tone Multiplex Freq signal. This was fed to a FM Transmitter. The receiver antenna picked up the signal, decoded it to BCD using DTMF decoder, which in turn switched on/off a particular device. This device Proved to be friendly and cost effective.
