PROJECT WORK:
• Design & Fabrication of Auto Riveting Machine: Worked on the project titled “Design & Fabrication of Special Purpose Riveting Machine” for Salzer Electronics, Coimbatore. The objective of the project was to automate the riveting process in a contact plate of an electric switch. The automation process improved productivity, decreased average cycle time, improved safety & reduced cost.
• Simulate the profile of a disc cam using Visual LISP: Developed a program using Visual LISP to simulate the different profiles of a disc cam. The output from the VLISP was fed into Master CAM. The program saved design time, manufacturing process lead time, increased accuracy & even for complicated profiles.
