Responsibilities:
• Testing of Siemens S7 PLC software and In touch (wonder ware)/WinCC Human Machine Interface Software (SCADA) for FAT.
• Start up & Commissioning of PLC, SCADA, Interfacing with Drives, Level2 and sub vendor control system.
• Commissioned reheating furnaces (vertical & horizontal) for Hot Dip Galvanizing line based on Siemens S7 PLC (400 series) and In touch,WinCC (wonder ware) SCADA for MITTAL STEEL -KAZAKHSTAN , HANDAN Iron & Steel Group-CHINA,Novolipetsk Iron & Steel ,Lipetsk(RUSSIA),Unicoil(Saudi Arabia). Furnaces are fully automatic with L2 control.
• In EZZ FLAT STEEL, EGYPT was responsible for technical support of Continuous Thin slab caster, Tunnel Furnace & Heated Transfer Table (Thickness-90-70mm, width-800-1600mm, Length-1400-37000mm) based on S7-400 series PLC’s, In touch (Wonder ware) HMI and is fully automatic with L2 control. This slab caster is having soft reduction through segments for better quality. The plant is totally integrated i.e. EAF, LRF, TSC, Tunnel Reheating Furnace, 4 Hi Roughing Mill, Heated Transfer/reject table and six 4hi Finishing Mill stands in Tandem.
• Commissioning of Twin Thick Slab Caster (230mm thick) in BAO STEEL, SHANGHAI (CHINA) based on S-7 400 Series PLC’s and WinCC SCADA. Bao Steel is the 5th largest producer of steel in the world.
• Commissioning of HDGL Vertical Furnace (Galvanized (GI),Galfan(GF) & Galvalume(GL)) based on S-7 400 Series PLC’s and In touch SCADA. in TANGSHAN Iron & Steel Company,Tangshan (CHINA).

Company Profile: Joined this Greenfield project as Asst.Manager and here Brass & Copper strips are manufactured. Brass strip is rolled from 220mm thick slab to 0.1 mm thickness. Plant consist of Melting furnaces, Caster, Reheating furnace; Hot Rolling Mill, Cold Rolling Mills (3No), Pickling & Edge Trimming line, DAP line, Tension leveller, CR Slitter; CTL & Packaging lines.
Was Responsible for:
• Techno-commercial discussions for switchyard, HT & LT power distribution system, Control & Automation system for process lines & utilities.
• Cable Engineering of full plant and finalization of Electrical contractor for carrying out electrical jobs.
• Complete coordination of Erection & commissioning activities of all utilities & process lines for the project.
• Preparation of ISO 9001:2000 documentation, it’s implementation and was dept. coordinator & is certified internal auditor. Company has ISO 9001:2000 certifications.
